Palak invited the UK businessmen to invest in Bangladesh
State Minister for Information and Communications Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak has invited the UK business delegation to visit and invest in Bangladesh. He made this call in a courtesy meeting with the Science, Innovation and Technology Minister of UK, Paul Scully on Saturday at the end of the G20 Forum of Developed and Developing Countries at Hotel Taj West End in Bangalore, India.
During this courtesy call, they discussed in detail various issues related to the interests of both countries, especially bilateral issues like bilateral trade, cashless economy, startup exchange, B2B matchmaking. They agreed to identify key issues to build a digital economy that benefits all. The Minister of State for ICT also invited the UK business delegation to visit and invest in Bangladesh.

The State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak held separate meetings with the representatives of G20 and guest countries including Singapore's Communications and Information Minister Josephine Teo, Netherlands' Secretary of State for Interior and Kingdom Affairs Alexandra Carla van Hafelen, UNDP's Assistant Secretary General Ulrika Moder.
It may be noted that, G-20 is the forum of developed and developing economies of the world. The forum, comprising 19 countries and the EU, is a platform for discussion on global issues such as climate change mitigation and sustainable development, in addition to the global economy.
